Frequently asked questions about enrollment.
Most applicants receive their invitation within 24–48 hours. Verification includes confirming your professional credentials and practice affiliation. During periods of high demand, verification may take up to 72 hours. You will receive an email notification when your account is ready. If you do not receive an invitation within 72 hours, please check your spam folder and then contact us directly at 1580509+sysadm@gmail.com. Expedited verification is available for institutional enrollments involving 10 or more providers — please indicate this in your message field.
MedChart operates on a verified-access model rather than a traditional waiting list. Once your credentials are verified, you receive immediate access to the platform. There is no numbered queue or staged release. Current verification throughput is approximately 400 applicants per day. As of the latest update, 12,429 clinicians have been verified and granted access. We maintain sufficient infrastructure capacity to onboard all verified applicants without artificial delays. The only reason access is not fully automated is the requirement to confirm clinical licensure or institutional affiliation to maintain platform integrity.
For individual clinicians: full name as it appears on your professional license, current email address associated with your practice or institution, your medical license number (or equivalent for non-physician clinicians), and practice type. For institutional enrollments: name of the institution, contact information for the authorizing administrator, approximate number of providers, and current EHR system (if applicable). All information is encrypted and used solely for verification purposes. We do not share credential information with third parties. Verification typically uses public licensure databases and institutional email domain checks.
Yes. For group enrollments, please complete the form with your institutional details and indicate the number of providers in your message. Our team will coordinate with your practice administrator to set up bulk accounts, configure practice-wide defaults (shared templates, preference lists, appointment types), and schedule dedicated training sessions. For practices migrating from another EHR, our concierge team will handle data import. Group enrollment is available at no additional cost — there are no per-seat fees regardless of practice size. Institutional onboarding typically completes within one week for practices of up to 50 providers.
Yes. MedChart is available to clinicians worldwide. The platform supports multiple languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and Arabic with more languages in development. Terminology systems include both ICD-11 (international standard) and ICD-10-CM (US-specific). Data residency options are available in US, EU, and UK regions. Clinicians outside the US should note that certain features — particularly insurance claim submission and specific lab integrations — are currently optimized for US healthcare systems. The core documentation, prescribing, scheduling, and patient portal features are fully functional globally. International users are welcome and encouraged to enroll.
